Our Schools

We are two free schools for the poor, founded by Sri Mumtaz Ali (or Sri M as he is popularly known) – the first in 1999 and the second in 2012.

We are located in the vicinity of Sugali Thanda, at the outskirts of Madanapalle town in Andhra Pradesh – about a 130 kilometres from Bangalore. Sugali Thanda is a hamlet occupied by displaced tribals from the Lambani community.

Our schools educate close to 230 students from ages 6 to 15. They come from some of the most deprived and destitute backgrounds of the Sugali Thanda hamlet. We also have students from other low income Muslim, Christian, and Hindu families that surround the area.
